Chic city living never looked so good

An open day to showcase apartments by Hull’s Old Town property investor is on Saturday 27 October from 11-3pm. Iguana Developments invites local buyers to find out more about the chic city way of life.

Residents are moving into Hull city centre. In particular the Old Town is seeing a major transformation with a variety of properties to rent or buy.

Iguana Developments is one of the city’s large-scale investors, with a £42m refurbishment scheme at three prominent buildings – Essex House is forty-five apartments for let and Liberty House is twenty-five apartments for sale, all of which are expected to be sold ready to move in for Christmas. These will be followed by the launch of the former Police Station in Queen’s Gardens in 2020.

Whether choosing to rent or buy, Managing Director, Jason Coleman says there is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy city living.

“In reality we could have let Essex House out five times over. The demand has been unbelievable and now we are impressed with the positivity surrounding our latest development for sale on Liberty Lane.”

“Quality over quantity is the key to success which is why apartments refurbished by Iguana Developments are fitted out with everything a home mover needs to settle in right away, we even include free furniture packs for people just starting out.”

“Local buyers have reserved a number of apartments which will be ready to move in before Christmas but it is interesting to find we’ve attracted a broad demographic. We already know that young professionals want to purchase our properties but also down-sizers and commuters who want to be able to enjoy the ease of city life.”

“We are making it easy for people to buy, especially for first time buyers wanting to take advantage of the Help to Buy Scheme, which only requires a five percent deposit so young people can get on the ladder with mortgage payments similar to their rent payments.”

“However, our selling agents, William H Brown can create a package bespoke for all, whatever your financial situation and this includes free legals and Stamp Duty.”

“Clearly Hull City Council also sees a demand with their proposal for two thousand five hundred homes. The good bars and restaurants are busy during the week as well as weekends but more residents coming in will continue to invigorate the city centre.”

“Liberty House is particularly exciting because it creates a community – we’re encouraging neighbours to get together and watch a movie in the residents’ cinema or enjoy a friendly BBQ on the elevated patio area, again free for residents to use.”

Liberty House also has a gym and each apartment includes branded kitchen appliances with everything included as standard: wine cooler, dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, cooker and fridge-freezer, designer bathrooms, Karndean flooring throughout and the fastest broadband connection in Hull, with 1Gb capability as supplied from Pure Broadband.

Jason continues: “We have made sure that Iguana Developments’ apartments are truly outstanding from a technology point of view – App controlled heating system, CCTV, vehicle number plate recognition for secure entry, video door entry system for visitors, and ultrafast broadband.”

Would-be buyers can pop along on Saturday (27 Oct) to see the show apartments. Or arrange a viewing at another time via www.libertyhousehull.co.uk or, telephone William H. Brown on 01482 447748.
